We forget because Jesus is God that He was often tired, burdened for people’s situations and needed rest too. If the Son of God took time to care for his soul and body, why shouldn’t we?

This is the difficulty. We learn to edit. We start to look around and compare. We recognize other great artists, and we feel the weight of expectations. We squelch the creative for the practical.
Never forget that you have worth and value not because of what you look like or even because of what you do with your life (because that will constantly change), but because you are God’s daughter, His precious one.
His commands are the ONLY firm path. Do not worry or hesitate! We can run confidently in them for they are the means by which God sets our hearts free.
Whatever your promised land is, like the Israelites, we are all on a journey. Where we are now, is not where we will always be.
God sees you as perfection by the covering of His son. Not as a waist size, not as a number on the scale. And He gifts us with His power, the power that raised Christ from the dead! He enables us to win every battle (spiritual, mental, physical) over our bodies.
Instead of fighting against the lies that Satan and the world would have us believe, we fall into them and eventually those lies become our distorted truths and negative self-talk.
While mentoring is often associated with live, human input, it’s not the only form of mentoring.
A rare jewel is not easily found; one must search long and often deep for it, but when it’s found it is to be celebrated and treasured. Thus is Christian contentment.
We believe that if we rescue one girl from human trafficking, we will be opening up a spot for other girls to be victimized. So, slowly, we are developing relationships with brothel owners and offering employment if they shut down their business as usual and reopen their business as a handicraft co-op.
